Claire focuses on supporting people with a wide range of conditions and situations, such as anxiety, depression, family relationships, grief and loss, trauma, and adjustment. She also has strong experience with treating substance use disorders, as well as supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
 
Claire believes in an authentic and caring therapeutic relationship, coupled with evidence-based treatments, as a strong foundation for success. Her approach focuses on identifying clients’ existing strengths and increasing their capacity to cope with stress. She strives to create a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space to facilitate change and healing.
 
Her style is insight-oriented interpersonal therapy. However, she skillfully incorporates multiple theoretical approaches into treatment.
 
She earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Towson University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland.
