Julie Schauer, PMHNP
Julie Schauer is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). With years of experience in mental health, Julie specializes in diagnosing, treating and managing a range of conditions for individuals across the life span. She treats adults, as well as adolescents, age 12 and above.
Julie obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mount Saint Mary College in New York State and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Maryville University with a focus on psychiatric and mental health care.
Julie focuses on a holistic and patient centered approach, integrating evidence-based practice, psychotherapeutic technique and medication management to assist patients in achieving optimal mental health care. Julie is passionate about reducing stigma surrounding mental health through advocacy and education.
