Rita Njeh, PMHNP
Rita Njeh is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Rita earned her BSN degree from Notre Dame of Maryland University and holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Nursing from Walden University.
With many years of experience as a psychiatric mental health nurse, Rita has addressed a wide range of challenges. Her expertise includes substance use, depression, bipolar and anxiety disorders. She treats adults and adolescents 16 years and older.
Rita is dedicated to providing safe, effective, and high-quality care through evidence-based approaches. Her professional background includes valuable experience at Veterans Affairs Maryland Healthcare System (where she was a winner of the Gold Pin award in 2024), Sheppard Pratt Health Systems, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and Medstar Health.
Understanding the challenges faced by individuals with mental illness, her goal is to deliver compassionate care and support patients in living more fulfilling lives. Rita believes in the destigmatization of mental health struggles via education and community outreach.
